General information and booking rules
Confirmation
When Stockholm Budget Accommodation, SBA
has received the booking, your name, address and passport number, we will send
you a confirmation by e-mail on your booking, with all important information
about your reservation. At the same time SBA will send information about the
guest and his/her reservation. It’s very important that the guest contacts
the host no later than five days before arrival. Late arrival which hasn’t
been informed is to be regarded as a cancellation. In that case the reserved
accommodation will be rented out to other guests and the booking fee will not be
repaid.
Payment
The booking fee is approximately 30% of
the total charge. The payment must be on SBA's account no later than two weeks
before arrival and is included in the total amount under each object. The bank
account number can be found in the booking confirmation.The accommodation has to be paid in cash
upon arrival to the host. In case of extensions, both the room rent and the
deposit fee must be paid in advance in cash. The host has no possibility to
accept vouchers or credit cards.
Terms of cancellation
If the guest has to cancel a
reservation he or she has to contact SBA as soon as possible. Cancellation must
be done by e-mail. If it’s done earlier than 21 days before the check-in
date, 50 % of the booking fee will be paid back.
Limitation of responsibility
The host is responsible for the letting
of accommodation. SBA acts only as an intermediary
between the host and the guest. If the host would be unable to let the
booked room/apartment SBA will book another accommodation or offer repayment of
the booking fee. The guest is not entitled compensation beside what has been
stated above. SBA bears no responsibility for conditions or events that lie
outside SBA:s control. Neither SBA nor the host bears any liability for the
guest or the guests’ belongings regarding injury, damage or loss. The guest is
responsible for his/her own person and his/her belongings. The guest has to
follow the host’s rules of conduct and security routines and in all ways treat
him/her with respect.
Additional information
The room price includes a continental
breakfast consisting of bread, butter, jam, cheese, coffee or tea with sugar and
milk. (Breakfast is not included if you rent an apartment.) If the guest stays
longer than a week, the bed linen and towels will be changed at the latest on
the eight day. Private key to the apartment is given to the guest after
agreement with the host. Some hosts take a deposit fee (500 SEK)
for the key, which is given back when the aparment is cleand and the key is returned to the host. Smoking as
well as bringing pets is forbidden if nothing else is said under the room
description. SBA has inspected all rooms and drawn up written agreements with
each host to secure quality and equipment.
